Mortgage applications filed last week fell a seasonally-adjusted 14.2% last week, compared with the week before, as rates on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages ticked up, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association's weekly survey, released on Wednesday.

Are you just commenting on a commonly reported statistic, or do you think this percentage number is due to the mortgage crisis? I have been hearing so many bad things about the mortgage situation, I wonder when the all clear will arrive, if it will at all.
