Realdiggity was created out of a desire to aggregate all the great real estate blog posts written by real estate professionals and combine those with news and stories affecting real estate today.

The site will allow the participants to rank stories as well as comment on the stories, news items and posts. This ranking system will hopefully allow the cream to rise to the top.

The site is in a very basic stage right now and it is very much a beta site. We are crawling before we walk and we will walk before we run. And once we get the site to the running phase the benefits to the participants will be tremendous.  These benefits include organic search engine results and traffic to your sites, lead generation, online influence and a few other indirect benefits.

But in the meantime, you can participate in a very passive or a very active manner.  Here are several ways to get involved and start building the community:

Vote on Posts: This is very easy to do. If you read a story that you like or feel is timely or informational, vote it up. And alternatively, if you think a story is not appropriate or well written, vote it down. Just click on the arrows underneath the numbers next to the story (fyi, you must be signed in to vote).

Submit Posts:  Once you sign in, at the top of the page will be a submit button.  Just click that and it will send you to a page to submit a story.  It will ask you to input the url, title and a description of the story.  You can input any story you feel is relevant to real estate. It can be a story you wrote or someone else's.

Subscribe to the RealDiggity RSS feed:  Add the rss feed to your reader and get submitted stories as they are added. Click on the RSS button at the bottom of the page or just add this url to your reader - http://www.realdiggity.com/rss.xml

Tell others about RealDiggity: We would love for you to tell your clients, customers, friends, associates and anyone else you can think of. The site will become a great resource for consumers, agents, lenders and anyone else who is involved in the business of real estate.

We have already received some great feedback and will continue to listen to anything you have to say whether it is positive or negative. In fact, the negative feedback will help us create the best real estate social bookmarking and aggregation site possible. Hit us up in the comment sections or directly at realdiggity@gmail.com .
